Pakistan’s defence is invincible, says Gen Raheel

Commander in Chief of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and former Army Chief General (retd) Raheel Sharif said that Pakistan's defence is invincible and the country is capable of repulsing any kind of aggression by the enemy. 

General (retd) Raheel Sharif was addressing a Defense Day ceremony hosted by the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and other diplomatic officials as well as key members of the community were present in the ceremony.

General Raheel Sharif said, “Defence Day reminded us of the September war that how our brave forces bravely defended the country's land and thwarted the nefarious intentions of the enemy.”

He said Pakistan Army is an expert in professionalism and always ready to protect its land and people. “Pakistan is flag-bearer of peace and always ready to defend every nook and corner of the country,” Commander in Chief of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) maintained.

He said Pakistan will continue to highlight the Kashmir issue at the international level as the Indian army is violating international laws by committing inhumane atrocities in Kashmir. 

Pakistani Ambassador Raja Ali Ijaz said, “We are proud of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country and ensured national security.” 

Pakistan’s Military Attaché in Saudi Arabia Brigadier Raja Haroon also addressed the Pakistan Defense Day celebrations ceremony.
