Pakistan to witness mesmerizing lunar eclipse tonight

Pakistanis are set to witness a breathtaking lunar eclipse tonight, with the celestial event expected to captivate skywatchers across several continents.

According to SUPARCO, the eclipse will begin at 11:55 pm and reach its peak when the moon is completely engulfed by the earth’s shadow.

The rare spectacle will conclude at 1:55 am, continuing into the early hours of September 8.

SUPARCO confirmed that the eclipse will be visible not only in Pakistan but also in parts of Asia, Africa, and Europe, allowing millions of astronomy enthusiasts, students, and the general public to enjoy the stunning view.

Unlike solar eclipses, the lunar eclipse is safe to observe with the naked eye, requiring no protective equipment.

The commission added that it will share photographs and real-time updates of the event through its social media platforms.
