Relief at Utility Stores

The federal government has withdrawn withholding tax to ensure supply of essential commodities at the Utility Stores.
A 1.5 percent cut on sugar, tea and salt while the tax on import of pulse is also abolished. The relaxation will continue until June 30.
The Federal Bureau of Revenue has issued a notification in this regard.
The move is part of the government’s relief package in the wake of the war on coronavirus.
