In a change of plan, the PTI, which initially had announced to hold a rally at Minar-i-Pakistan today on Saturday to register protest against massive rigging in the general elections held on February 8, 2024, the party’s Punjab Chief Organizer Aliya Hamza on Saturday issued instructions to the party’s members of the assemblies and ticket-holders to protest peacefully in their constituencies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

She directed them to make the protest effective by coordinating with the workers and holding demonstrations at open spaces and on main roads. “Don’t take the law in your hands during the protest,” she said, adding, “Remain peaceful at all costs.”

Aliya said that being the party’s chief organizer, she would visit each and every constituency in Lahore to see how many people had shown up.

Similarly, Aliya issued instructions for other district administrations of Punjab.
