Establishment Division notifies more retirements, transfers and postings

Commodore (Retd) Jawad Akhtar resigns as technical adviser to Ministry of Maritime Affairs

The federal government on Thursday issued a series of official notifications regarding resignations, retirements, postings and transfers of civil and police officers.

According to the Establishment Division, Commodore (Retd) Muhammad Jawad Akhtar, who was serving as Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, has resigned from his position. His resignation has been approved by the prime minister.

The Establishment Division has also issued post-retirement notifications for several Grade 18 officers of the Police Service of Pakistan. These include SP Arif Rana, whose retirement took effect on November 24, 2025. SP Mushtaq Ahmed Abbasi retired on November 30, 2025 and SP Fida Hussain Solangi retired on August 24, 2025. At the time of their retirement, all three officers were serving under the Sindh government.

Additionally, another Grade 18 police officer, Fida Hussain, who was posted with the Punjab government, has been notified retired on October 4, 2025. Separately, Muhammad Asif, an OSD Grade 18 officer belonging to the Office Management Group, has also been notified of his retirement.

In related postings, services have been entrusted to the Board of Investment, while Yasir Ali, who was awaiting appointment, has been posted as Section Officer in the Economic Affairs Division.

The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications for all the above orders, confirming their immediate implementation.
