Karachi’s Peoples Bus Service suspended

The People’s Bus Service, which had been launched in Karachi just a few days ago with lot of fanfare, was suspended on Friday for two days due to heavy rains lashing the city since yesterday afternoon (Thursday, July 7, 2022), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The decision was deemed necessary after cars developed faults and stopped right in the middle of roads when the rainwater entered them yesterday.
The administration said that the service would be restored after improvement in the situation.
