Four die as fire sweeps a house in Peshawar

Four people, including two women, were burnt alive when a fire erupted in a house in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

According to details, the fire broke out in the house located in Koochi Bazaar area of Peshawar, which spread very quickly and engulfed the entire house, killing four people on the spot and critically injuring two others.

At least six fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control after hectic efforts.  The condition of the two firefighters also deteriorated during the operation.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. 

Rescue 1122 teams have shifted the dead and injured to the hospital. According to fire brigade officials, the fire, triggered by a short circuit.
