Nominations reviewed for 38th Senior Management Course

Nominations of some government officers were withdrawn for the 38th Senior Management Course, which is mandatory for federal officials for promotion in Grade-20, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, names of 32 officials of Grade-19 were added, and 16 officials were withdrawn.

Five officials of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) who are performing their duties in Grade-19 were withdrawn and five additional nominations were included. 

Nomination of three officials who were belonged to Pakistan Police Service were withdrawn and three additional officers were added.  

Nomination of Muntazir Mubeen Elahi, Director-General Sports, Punjab Khizer Afzaal was dropped.

Names of Director-General Punjab Enforcement Regulatory Authority, Farrukh Atiq, and Special Secretary Revenue Department Sundas Irshad were taken back.

Nominations of Punjab Social Protection Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ali Shehzad and three officials from Police Service of Pakistan, SSP East Karachi Dr. Farrukh Raza, CPO Rawalpindi Tanveer Hussain were dropped.

Nomination of SSP Tanveer Hussain whose service was on disposal of the Sindh government, was withdrawn.

Five additional officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service were nominated for the 38th course who are Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Additional Secretary Communications Shafiullah Khan, Deputy Commissioner Lodhran Lubna Nazeer, Deputy Commissioner Pakpattan Maria Tariq, and Punjab Housing Town Planning Agency Director-General Sikandar Zeeshan.

Government of Sindh’s Department of Power Additional Secretary Zainul Abideen, and three officers of Police Service of Pakistan were also nominated for the Course.

Naveed Atif who is waiting for posting, DPO Sargodha Zohaib Ashraf, and Wahid Mehmood were also nominated for the Course.

The course will be held in the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) buildings in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar from July 14 to October 31, 2025.

Establishment Division advised the candidates to report in the NIPA training centers by July 11, 2025.
