PM Shehbaz greets CMs, calls Oman’s Sultan Haitham on Eid

On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held telephonic conversations with the chief ministers of all four provinces and extended his warm greetings. 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

He conveyed Eid wishes to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. 

All four leaders warmly thanked the Prime Minister and extended their own Eid greetings and well-wishes to him in return.

Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman to convey Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Sultan and the brotherly people of Oman.

During the call, both leaders prayed for unity and harmony within the Muslim Ummah and offered special prayers for the oppressed people of Gaza.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Sultan Haitham for Oman’s balanced and supportive stance during recent tensions between Pakistan and India, especially his call for de-escalation and dialogue.

Highlighting the deep-rooted and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Oman, PM Shehbaz stressed the need to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in all sectors.

He reiterated his invitation for Sultan Haitham to undertake an official visit to Pakistan, which the Sultan graciously accepted. In return, Sultan Haitham invited Prime Minister Shehbaz to visit Oman. Both visits will be scheduled through diplomatic channels at mutually convenient dates.
