PIA gets corona protective equipment from NDMA

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has donated protective medical equipment worth 100,000 dollars to the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for fighting the coronavirus pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The donation includes protective suits, masks and goggles which the crew members of the airlines will use while operating special flights.

PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik expressed special thanks to NDMA Chairman Muhammad Afzal for donating these equipment. The national carrier is working responsibly to play its part to fight the pandemic, he assured.

Arshad Malik said the donated equipment will certainly help the PIA in making its staff and passengers more safe.
