Four slaughtered in Jhelum house

In a horrific incident, unidentified assailants broke into a house and slit the throats of four people, including a woman, in Jhelum on Monday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The incident took place in Kotha Purana Gaon in Jhelum. Police said that all the victims were living in a rented house.

Soon after receiving the report, a heavy contingent of police rushed to the spot and started collecting evidence from the crime scene.

A Rescue 1122 and forensic team is already present at the site.

Earlier in August 2025, police recovered the dead body of a man from the fields who was kidnapped a day earlier while standing outside a Shawarma stall in Jhelum. 

The deceased, identified as Imran Younus, was the father of two children.
