Pakistani comedian and content creator Zaid Ali, known for his popular comic character Nasreen, has taken a sharp swipe at YouTuber Rajab Butt during a heated TikTok Live exchange, sparking a wave of reactions across social media.
A viral video flooded the internet featuring Zaid Ali and Rajab Butt going head to head during a TikTok Live match. During the exchange, Zaid questioned the value of having millions of subscribers if they do not translate into respect and reputation.
“Subscribers tere zyada honge, izzat nahi hai teri. Ye baat yaad rakh, aur izzat subscribers aur viewers sab se upar hoti hai,” Zaid said, making it clear that he believes respect matters more than online numbers.
Zaid went on to accuse Rajab of prioritizing numbers over respect, saying, “Tera goal zindagi mein kabhi izzat nahi tha, tujhe sirf numbers chahiye thay. Jaisay bhi tujhe zindagi mein numbers mil jayein aur woh toh tune achieve kar liya, congratulations.”
The comedian then urged Rajab to focus on earning respect rather than simply increasing his audience. “Lekin zindagi mein kuch karna ho toh izzat kamao,” he added.
Zaid also responded to Rajab’s apparent remarks about his own content career, explaining that he is primarily recognized for comedy rather than vlogging.
“Mujhe keh raha hai ke main vlogger nahi hoon. Vlogger toh hoga, main nahi hoon. Maine comedy videos banayi hain aur comedy videos se jaana jaata hoon, vlogging se nahi,” he clarified.
Taking another swipe at the style of content associated with Rajab, Zaid added that he would rather not become known through the kind of vlogging for which Rajab has gained recognition.
The comedian further claimed that audiences would object to Rajab sharing a screen with him, saying, “Teri chat mein ek banda nahi hoga jo kahega ke Zaid ke saath screen share na karo. Meri chat mein poore log kehte hain ke iske saath screen share na karo. Izzat kis ki hai, respect kis ki hai?”
