Tala Chaudhry declares terrorism in KP as engineered
Accuses PIT of destabilising national economy and playing provincialism card
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has alleged that terrorist activities are being orchestrated deliberately in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which also tops the list in electricity theft and line losses across Pakistan.
The 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday that in an exclusive conversation in Islamabad, Talal Chaudhry remarked that whenever the national economy begins to show signs of improvement, a disruptive group becomes active.
He pointed to such disruptive behaviour during the Mines and Minerals Conference, emphasising that even a platform focused on national progress was not spared.
The minister further said that PTI has never missed an opportunity to act against the country's interests, adding that the Mines and Minerals Conference was not just for the federal government but for all provinces.
He underlined that the event would open up employment opportunities across the nation.
Criticising PTI’s politics, Talal Chaudhry urged the party to stop playing the provincialism card, accusing it of harbouring an agenda aimed at preventing Pakistan’s development.
He also blamed the same disruptive elements for writing letters to the IMF and organising street protests, saying these acts are all part of the same destabilising strategy.
