Fire erupts in hotel in Rawalpindi

Four people were burnt when a massive fire broke out in the kitchen of a hotel located on Murree Road in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. 
According to rescue officials, the fire broke out due to a leak of gas in the gas pipe caused by lighting a stove.

Soon after receiving the report, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot and shifted the severely burnt people to the hospital.

Earlier, on February 1, 2026, a massive fire broke out in multiple flats of Bahria Town in Rawalpindi. The flats were located in Phase 7 of Bahria Town, Rawalpindi. 

Two people were struck inside the building due to thick smoke and fire, and were later safely evacuated.
