New timings for Lahore schools announced

The Education Authority Lahore has issued new winter timings for schools owing to harsh weather conditions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the new timings revealed on Tuesday, the classes in schools will start at 9:30 am and end at 2:30 pm.

On Fridays, the classes will end at 12:30 pm.

The timings for both girls and boys schools in single shift will be the same.

The double shift schools will first open at 9:30 am and end at 1:30 pm, and in second shift the schools will start at 1:45 pm and end at 5:30 pm in the evening.

The new timings will remain in force in schools until January 22.
