Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday (today), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.   

The meeting is likely to discuss the Hajj Policy 2023. 

According to the sources, the political and economic situation of the country will be considered in the meeting. 

The law and order situation in the wake of the PTI protest movement will be reviewed in the meeting. 

Matters pertaining to elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and future political strategy will be discussed in the meeting. 

Sources said that the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) “recommendations” and the country’s economy would also be reviewed in the meeting.
