The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Wednesday continued its operations against drug smuggling throughout the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the ANF sources, 1.55 kilograms of marijuana were recovered from the parcel sent from the United States (US) at Lahore International Airport.

About 186 liters of prohibited chemicals were also recovered from Chaman area of Balochistan.

In a joint operation of the ANF and the FC in Khyber, 16.18 kilograms of hashish were recovered from plastic bags.

As many as 89 heroin-filled capsules were recovered from the belly of a Bahrain-bound passenger at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar.

In another such operation, as many as 60 heroin-filled capsules were recovered from the belly of a Sharjah-bound passenger at Bacha Khan International Airport.

The ANF also recovered two kilograms of heroin from a man of Lahore.

Cases were registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act and investigations were started
