Punjab Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan extends full support to 27th Amendment

Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Mohammad Ahmad Khan assured his full support for 27th Constitutional Amendment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Addressing an event in Lahore, Malik Ahmad Khan said that we have to play our role for the development and progress of Pakistan.
He said, “I wish that my country should become a symbol of peace where everybody has equal education opportunities”.
He further said, “I am in favour of the 27th Constitutional Amendment. If we are giving importance to the parliament, then why did our opposition become so angry?”
Malik Ahmad Khan said that if Parliament is given the authority to appoint judges, then what is wrong with it?
After listening to the opposition leader, he was forced to ask, "What kind of talk are you talking about?"
The Punjab Assembly speaker said that when it is said that everyone should come to the same page, why are the opposition members opposing it?
Malik Ahmad Khan said that the Parliament will be credible if the appointment and impeachment of judges are with the Parliament.
If the Israel-Iran war cannot be hidden, then can anyone hide the Pakistan-Afghanistan war?
The Punjab Assembly speaker said that security reforms are needed; if these amendments are made, the structural environment will improve.
He further said that as the PML-N leadership was treated in prison, the same is happening to the PTI chief. He said that the jail manual was implemented while Nawaz Sharif was in jail.
The prison manual is not being implemented for the first time. One's political position may be different, but KP's position is different.
Malik Ahmad Khan said that currently, our Field Marshal is guarding our borders. He played a vital role in downing an Indian Rafale during the Pakistan-India war.
He said, “If our armed forces do not act as a lead-lined wall to protect Pakistan, then no one can stop the insurgency.”
