Doctor shot dead in Kandhkot

Unidentified persons shot dead a doctor in the limits of E-Section police station in Kandhkot on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to reports, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Mehmdani died on the spot, while the assassins, who were on motorcycles, easily fled from the spot.  

Soon after learning about the incident, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot. 

Police said the incident was the consequence of an old enmity.

Eight booked in connection with murder of journalist

Also on Thursday, eight people were nominated in the FIR registered in Mirpur Mathelo in connection with the murder of a journalist, Tufail Rind.  

SSP Ghotki said raids were being conducted for the arrest of all suspects, including Subhan, Irfan and Ilyas.
