Rajab Butt escalates Emaan Asad dispute with fresh defamation notice
Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has reportedly sent another defamation notice to his ex-wife, Emaan Asad, accusing her of sharing comments, reels and videos that allegedly defame him.
According to Emaan Asad’s lawyer, Rajab Butt’s legal team has claimed that Emaan’s social media activity was directed at damaging Rajab’s reputation. However, the lawyer said that the notice did not contain any links, videos or other evidence showing exactly which content was considered defamatory.
The lawyer said Emaan’s legal team has asked Rajab Butt’s side to provide the complete material on which the allegations are based. He maintained that without seeing the alleged content, they cannot properly examine the claims or give a detailed response.
Emaan’s lawyer also described the notice as an attempt to harass his client. He said the legal team has already replied to Rajab Butt’s notice and asked for proper proof of the allegations.
He further stated that if any of Emaan’s videos, reels or comments are being cited as defamatory, the relevant links and evidence should be shared with them. According to him, Emaan’s legal team will be able to respond fully once they receive the material referred to in the notice.
The latest development comes as the dispute between Rajab Butt and Emaan Asad continues to attract attention on social media. Their separation has remained a widely discussed topic, with new statements and developments involving the former couple continuing to spark reactions among their followers.
