Daska police arrest PML-N, PTI workers, seize weapons
The police in Daska have arrested the activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) with heavy weapons near a polling station on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Nine activists, six belonging to PML-N and three to PTI, were taken into custody from Sitrah area for violating Section 144 imposed in the NA-75 constituency where voting being held in by-election.
The police seized two Kalashnikovs, two pistols and a 223-bore rifle from the activisits.
The six PML-N workers were identified as Qurban, Imran, Anwar, Muhammad Boota, Saifullah and Sharif.
Imran, Abid and Nahmad Azeem belonged to the ruling PTI.
The police also seized three vehicles of the activists.
