Beheaded body with note in pocket found in Lahore
Police found dead body of a man who was beheaded with the help of a hand saw in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place at a house located in the jurisdiction of Liaquatabad Police Station. The dead man was later identified as Waseem Jabbar. Police also recovered a suicide note from his pocket.
Later, the police shifted the body to a hospital’s mortuary for autopsy. Police sources said that nobody can slaughter his own neck with a hand saw.
Police said that the recovered written note also does not match the condition of the dead body.
Police also obtained the CCTV footage of the incident and recorded statements of the deceased's relatives and friends.
Police said that a forensic test of the deceased's mobile phone will also be conducted.
Woman dies in road accident
An old woman, Zainab Bibi, who was 65, lost her life when a speedy vehicle hit her badly in the Model Town area of Lahore.
Soon after receiving the report, the police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body of an old woman to the hospital for a post-mortem. Police are also taking help from CCTV footage.
