The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) Tuesday issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Muharram sittings and processions in wake of fourth covid-19 wave.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the NCOC issued the SOPs for Muharram activities keeping in view the recommendations of the concerned religious scholars.

As per the guidelines, all gatherings and processions would be held under the anti-corona SOPs by using masks, social distance and thermal screening.

Hand sanitisers and masks would be mandatory.

The NCOC laid stress on holding sitting and gatherings in ventilated and open place.

During the mourning rallies, and meetings, management would also be able to have volunteers to maintain the SOPs and the decorum by displaying the Corona SOPs prominently there.
