No action against cops driving bikes sans helmets despite CTO orders

The instructions given by the chief traffic officer (CTO) Lahore that the policemen riding motorcycles without wearing helmets should be challaned have little effect as the cops are still seen riding motorcycles on the city roads without helmets, reported 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.
Some even don’t have number plates fixed to their bikes.
And no traffic police personnel can dare to intercept them and challan them.
The traffic police have also failed to give any data on the number of policemen challaned so far.
On the other hand, the traffic police are tough on poor motorcyclists and challan them for violating the traffic rules.
