♦ The dream of the people of Karachi has come true; PM Khan inaugurates the Green Line project; about 135,000 passengers will be able to travel daily from December 25; fare will be from Rs15 to Rs55; PM Khan says Karachi cannot be modernised unless it is properly managed; announcement of completion of the forum plan by August 2023; PM Khan also invited the Sindh government to work together

♦ Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the inauguration is not related to what the Prime Minister said; says why it took three and a half years to complete the project work of three months duration; questions Imran Khan if he brought in just a single uplift plan, then he has ever started; Maryam Aurangzeb says Imran Khan should be thanked for the opportunity to put up plaques for three years

♦ In the Prime Minister's 'Cheapest Country', the inflation rate for the poor has gone up to 20%; Bureau of Statistics has released its inflation report from the previous week; The price of dal masoor increased by Rs6.18 per kilogram (kg); price of dal mash has gone up by Rs7.7 per kg; price of dal chana has gone up by Rs4.20 per kg; price of dal moong became more expensive at Rs3.85 per kg;  ghee become more expensive by Rs2.34 per kg; onion, milk, yogurt, garlic, rice, beef also became more expensive within a  week

♦ PPP's countrywide protest against inflation underway; Jiyalas took to the streets Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi; workers also protest in Faisalabad and Peshawar; a sit-in on the Indus Highway in Larkana and a rally in Harnai; protests were also held in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan against government

♦ Government allies are also worried about rising inflation; Chaudhry Parvez Elahi says that the people are starving; says practical steps will have to be taken to provide the people with relief

♦ Horrible murder of husband by a woman in Karachi; woman killed her husband and dismembered his body into pieces; when the police arrived, the accused Rabab was sleeping with husband; police found organs from different parts of the house; tools also exported; accused Rabab is the second wife of the slain Muhammad Sohail; the victim has eight children from his first wife

♦ Video scam in Quetta by job fraud; extensive videos recovered from accused's mobile and laptop; the two brothers used to make videos by cheating on their jobs; another woman, a resident of Quetta, also filed a case; a case of abduction of two women has also been registered against the accused; CM Balochistan announces to form JIT; demand for action against the accused has become a trend on social media

♦ Fake spiritual healer arrested for blackmailing women by making Nazi video; accused had an affair with a married woman in Islamabad and made videos. He also blackmailed her and seized Rs40 million and Jewellery; he also revealed that he had been abusing girls for seven years; Lahore police interrogates accused

♦ In the name of honour and in domestic disputes, 954 women were killed in Punjab this year; the highest number of 89 women were killed in Lahore; 66 in Faisalabad, 48 in Rawalpindi, 42 in Gujranwala and 41 in Sargodha.

♦ Important observations of the Islamabad High Court on the reference without evidence against Asif Zardari; Asif Zardari was acquitted on merit in the Ursus tractor reference; CJP remarks if we feel that the intentions of NAB are not right then we will not leave the matter; if there was any mistake then the then Chairman NAB will also be held responsible. That is not the case.
