Cold and dry weather expected across country, snowfall in upper areas

Mainly Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts while cloudy weather is likely in upper parts of the country during the next twenty four hours. However, light to moderate rain-wind and thunderstorm snowfall over the hills is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. 

The weather in Islamabad and surrounding areas is likely to remain cold and partially cloudy. 

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa weather is cold and dry in most of the districts of the province, while it is likely to be very cold in the mountainous areas. However, there may be light rain and light snowfall in Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Butgram, Mansehra and Abbottabad. Meanwhile, fog is expected in some plains in the morning hours. 

In Punjab weather will remain cold and dry in most of the districts of the province. There is a possibility of fog at some places in the Potohar region during the morning hours. In the morning, light fog is expected in Multan, Khanewal, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and surrounding areas. 

In Balochistan weather is cold and dry in most of the districts of the province, while the hilly areas are likely to be very cold during the night/morning hours. The weather is likely to be cold and dry in most of the districts of Sindh. Weather to remain foggy in Sukkur, Kashmore, Jacobabad and surrounding areas.
