Punjab Minister for Works and Communication Malik Sohaib Ahmed Barth on Monday presided over a special meeting to review the development projects announced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, reported 24NewsDH TV channel. 

The participants of the meeting reviewed development work at Faisalabad-Chiniot Road, Quaid-e-Azam Interchange to Wagha Border Road, Gujranwala Flyover, Agriculture Mall and revamping of Police Integrated Command and Control System building of Bahawalpur.

The officials of C&W department were given a detailed briefing to the members of the meeting. 

The meeting was informed that that carpeting work already underway on Quaid-e-Azam Interchange to Wagha Border Shahrah.

The meeting was further informed that about 5 million people will benefit after completion of signal-free corridor at GT Road Gujranwala while more than 1,25,000 vehicles will use this corridor.

The provincial minister directed to issue a transparent tender for construction of Chan Da Qila flyover. 

The minister expressed satisfaction over construction of Punjab Police Integrated Command and Control Bahawalpur building.

The minister directed to expedite construction work on 4 agricultural malls. The meeting was informed that work on Faisalabad-Chiniot Road Sargodha Road and Kamalpur Interchange to Tehsil Chowk Chiniot double road underway.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs7.5 billion while its length is 24 kilometers while 17,573 vehicles will take benefit of this road.

The development work underway round-the-clock.
