Pakistan men's football team unable to participate in any event amid FIFA ban

Pakistan's men's football team will not be able to participate in the Asian Cup qualifying round due to the FIFA suspension, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Pakistan was scheduled to compete in the Asian Football Championship qualifying round next month, with the first match set to take place on March 25.

However, FIFA’s decision to suspend Pakistan had rendered them ineligible for any official international tournaments.

According to officials, the suspension, imposed due to governance issues within the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) normalisation committee had significantly disturbed the national team’s development. 

They observed that the setback had further isolated the team from international competitions, severely impacting its progress on the global stage.
