PML-N assails PTI govt for power breakdown

January 11, 2021 06:07 AM

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government over sudden power breakdown across the country.

In a statement issued in Lahore on Sunday, the PML-N leader said that no minister from the government knew how the entire country plunged into darkness.

The nation is paying the price for the PTI government’s incompetency, she added.

On the other hand, electricity supply in parts of Pakistan has been partially restored after the country was hit by a massive blackout early Sunday, with the Ministry of Energy blaming it on a sudden drop in frequency that tripped the entire system.
