Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah on Monday expressed the hope that the PPP and other opposition parties, part of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) would together set out on a ‘long march’ towards Islamabad to press the government to go home, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a special interview with 24News, he said the opposition would not let the ‘mini budget’ be passed by the parliament and would protest against it inside as well as outside of the legislature.
Khurshid further said that the PPP would also raise the issue of deaths of scores of tourists in Murree in extreme cold in the National Assembly (NA), and hold the government accountable for that.
