PPP forms election board for intra-party polls

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has constituted an Election Board to oversee its intra-party elections, as per a notification issued by the party.

The board was formed by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and will be responsible for conducting the elections within five weeks.

According to the notification, Fawzia Habib has been appointed as the convenor, while Amir Fida Paracha and Sibtul Haider Bukhari will also serve as members of the three-member board.

The Election Board has been tasked with ensuring a transparent and timely electoral process within the party ranks. The decision comes as part of PPP’s efforts to strengthen its internal democratic structure ahead of key political developments.
