Features of Fatah missiles

Pakistan's advanced Fatah missile system includes two surface-to-surface missile variants — Fateh-1 and Fateh-2 — designed for different operational ranges and battlefield requirements.

Fateh-1 is a short-range missile capable of striking targets up to 150 kilometres, providing rapid response capability against nearby threats. The Fateh-2, a more advanced version, boasts a range of up to 400 kilometres, significantly extending Pakistan’s ability to deter and respond to regional hostilities.

What sets the Fateh-2 missile apart is its satellite-guided targeting system, which allows for greater accuracy and precision in hitting designated targets. 

Earlier, Pakistan launched a counterattack on India, named Operation Bunyan-um-Marsus, with missiles in retaliation to India's recent barrage of attacks. 

Security sources say Pakistan is currently conducting a counter-attack against India on hard military targets, as at least three 'Fatah 2' missiles have been fired at Indian targets. 

Furthermore, airfields in Udhampur, Adampur, and Pathankot have also been destroyed, as per security sources. 

They said all the bases from where Pakistan was attacked are being targeted. The most damage so far has been done by the 'Fateh 2' missile.
