Seven-year-old Karachi boy drowns in water tank

A seven-year-old boy died after drowning in a water tank in Karachi’s Quaidabad-Landhi area, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to initial reports, the tragic incident took place inside a house in the Old Muzaffarabad neighbourhood, where the child, identified as Asim, reportedly fell into a water tank.

Family members and local residents rushed to rescue the boy, but he could not survive.

The child’s body was later shifted to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities and further examination.

Police said legal proceedings were under way while authorities continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
