Nawaz Sharif gets diplomatic passport

The government of Pakistan has issued Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo a diplomatic passport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
According to the sources, the diplomatic passport has been issued to the former premier after the final approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The former premier, who is in a self-exile in London after going there for treatment during his prison term in a corruption case, has been issued a diplomatic passport for five years.
According to sources, the passport has been sent to Nawaz Sharif from the Passport and Immigration Office.
The government has cancelled the passport of Nawaz Sharif after he has been declared fugitive by the courts.
The government has already issued an ordinary passport to the former premier earlier this year.
