Man, three sons gunned down in Shangla

Unidentified gunmen shot dead four members of a family in the Puran area of Shangla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting police sources.

The dead included the father and his three sons. Police have shifted the bodies to Puran Hospital for postmortem. Police have also deployed heavy contingent in the area to avoid any untoward incident.

Separately, Karak district DPO Tariq Habib took action on the murder of a local journalist named Waseem Alam in the Meetha Khel area of the district. 

The DPO has directed Karak SHO (City) to arrest the killers of the journalist.

Police have also registered a case against unknown accused on the complaint of the victim's mother. 

Police are working to arrest the accused involved in the murder of the journalist, police sources said.
