Babar Azam becomes first player to score 4,000 runs in PSL history

Babar Azam has become the first player in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history to surpass 4,000 runs, cementing his status as one of the tournament’s most prolific performers, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

The former Pakistan captain reached the milestone in his 104th PSL match.

This journey has included two centuries and 37 half-centuries.  

Babar has represented three franchises during his PSL career: Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and Peshawar Zalmi, playing a pivotal role for each side with his dependable batting performances.

Widely regarded as one of the finest batters in contemporary cricket, Babar’s landmark highlights both his longevity and dominance in the league since its inception.
