Old rivalry claims four lives in Khairpur
Four people, including a woman, were gunned down, and five others received critical injuries during an armed clash between two rival groups in Khairpur on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The clash took place in the Daraza Sharif in the jurisdiction of Ranipur Police Station. Police sources said that the armed clash occurred due to an old rivalry between two groups of the Juneja tribe in village Vario Wahan.
Soon after receiving the report, a police team immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital.
Earlier in November 2025, five men were gunned down in two separate incidents in Khairpur district.
A longstanding vendetta between the Ulra and Jatoi clans in the Prialo area claimed four lives and left several others injured, including a passerby from a minority community.
Three of the deceased belonged to the Ulra caste, while one was from the Jatoi clan.
They have been identified as Majid Ulro, Dhani Bux Ulro, Gullan Ulro, and Azam Jatoi.
