PIA’s Paris–Lahore flight delayed for two days, passengers stranded

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK734 from Paris to Lahore has been grounded for over two days due to a technical fault, leaving passengers, including women, children, and elderly people, stranded at Charles de Gaulle Airport, 24NewsHD TV reported.

The flight was originally scheduled to depart on August 8 at 5:30 pm local time. However, passengers reported that they were not given clear information about when the flight would resume, causing frustration at the airport.

According to a PIA spokesperson, a technical issue was detected in the engine of the Boeing 777 aircraft upon its arrival in Paris from Islamabad. The same aircraft was meant to operate the return flight to Lahore, disrupting PIA's entire schedule

PIA officials stated that engineering teams are working to fix the issue as quickly as possible to restore flight operations.

In the meantime, all stranded passengers have been accommodated in hotels in Paris.
