Bilawal Bhutto holds talks with Ibrahim Murad
Former caretaker Punjab Education Minister and University of Management and Technology (UMT) Chairman Ibrahim Hassan Murad called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Lahore on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Governance, education and important national issues were discussed during the meeting.
Both leaders fully agreed on expanding educational opportunities for the youth.
Both leaders also expressed concern over the fact that more than 25 million children in the country are out of school.
In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the importance of university education and its positive social impact.
Ibrahim Hassan Murad said strong governance is based on effective policymaking.
He said the biggest crisis facing the country today is education.
Talking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto said UMT is rendering extensive services for the promotion of higher education.
It is imperative to provide quality educational facilities to Pakistani youth, Bilawal Bhutto said.
