Hadiqa Kiani has exciting news for fans: her new song Challa is officially dropping today, December 11, across the Sufiscore platform and all major digital music services.
In a reel posted by the iconic Pakistani singer, she shared exactly what the release means to her, elucidating Challa’s personal and artistic significance.
“I have wonderful news to share with you all. My new song, Challa, is releasing on December 11 on the Sufiscore platform as well as all major digital platforms.
"Challa has been performed by many legendary artists over the years, and it is a beautiful folk-classical piece that I’ve long dreamed of singing. I’ve interpreted it in my own way and poured my heart into every note.
"I truly hope you feel its emotion and that it touches your heart. Everyone has their own understanding of this song, but for me, Challa is a soul — a spirit that enters this world, journeys through it, and ultimately transcends to its final destination.”
Challa has been a timeless Punjabi folk piece, and Hadiqa's rendition will serve as a beautiful tribute to poets like Shiv Kumar Batalvi and Reshma, with music arranged by Irfan Kiani and production by Sufiscore.
