Kylie Jenner says she’s ‘protective’ of private life with Timothée Chalamet

American businesswoman Kylie Jenner opens up about why she guards her personal life so closely, especially as her relationship with Timothée Chalamet continues to draw attention.

In the December 11 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, the 28-year-old reality star and beauty mogul reflected on what it’s like to make major life decisions in the public eye.

Growing up famous, she explained, has made her especially intentional about what she chooses to share.

“I have to live my life,” Kylie said. Reflecting on the pressures of fame, she continued, “I can’t live for whatever everyone else wants me to do. I just have to try to do what’s best for me every day.”

Kylie added that her childhood in the spotlight shaped her in ways she’s still processing: “I know that fame has absolutely shaped me from experiencing these things since I was nine. But I guess I also wouldn’t know who I would be today without growing up like this. I’m just navigating through life.”

Kylie and the 29-year-old Oscar-nominated actor have been linked since 2023, and the couple has kept their romance largely out of public view.

But earlier this week, they made a rare appearance together at the Los Angeles premiere of Timothée’s new film Marty Supreme — even stepping out in coordinated outfits, a subtle but stylish nod to their growing bond.
