All Karachi Timber Merchant Group (AKTMG)  announced to hold a protest rally in Karachi from Timber Market to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, AKTMG President Sharjeel Goplani in a statement issued here on Wednesday and said importers of timber are worried by government policies.
The AKTMG president said cargos of timber merchants are stuck at the port and heavy charges are being levied while banks are not providing dollars to clear their import consignments.
Sharjeel Goplani also announced that the timber market will be closed on Thursday, January 12 and merchants will gather to hold a rally against the not-friendly policies of the banks at 10 am.
He said all the traders of the timber market will hold their protest rally from the market to the SBP.
