♦ Heavy rains jam the wheel of life in Karachi; Water enters houses, several feet of water accumulates in most areas, roads become rivers, vehicles and motorcycles broke down on the road; Shahra-i-Faisal sinks; Several feet of water accumulated at Nursery stop, furniture market and Karsaz; Nagan Chowrangi gives the feel of a river; Clifton, Submarine underpass and KPT underpass were also closed; Rainwater enters houses in Liaqatabad C-1 area;  Villages of Gadap City cut off due to floods in Thadu Stream

♦ The flood water of Malir Nadi entered in Yar Mohammad Goth as people start evacuating the area; two people were electrocuted in Garden Show Market; three people have swept away in the flash floods in Danba Goth. However, the rescue officials saved one person while search for two others was on; Citizens were trapped due to rising water flow in Lyari Stream; Edhi Foundation team rescued the trapped people

♦ More than 500 feeders of K Electric have been tripped due to heavy rains in Karachi; Power outages in several areas; Concerned citizens; On the other hand, the administration could not get rid of the ofals as they started floating in the water in different areas

♦ Prime Minister's directive to ensure public safety in torrential rains; Orders to NDMA to assist provincial governments; Says that provision of temporary shelter and food to the affected people should be ensured and medical teams should be mobilized; the Prime Minister expressed regret over the losses caused by the rains and expressed solidarity with the victims
