A woman was shot dead allegedly by drug dealers in the Baghbanpura area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, accused Fakhar Shah and Ikram entered the house and shot dead the woman identified as Nadira.

Nadira had lodged a complaint with the police against the drug dealers.

Residents of the area started protesting over the murder and placed the body of the deceased on GT Road and chanted slogans against the police.

The traffic system was disrupted due to the protests.

Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana took the notice of the incident and sought a report from SP Cantt.

CCPO also ordered the arrest of the accused involved in the murder.
