Four dacoits killed in Kot Addu, Hyderabad police encounters

Four bandits were gunned down during two police encounters in Kot Addu and Hyderabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The first police encounter took place near the Cantt graveyard in the jurisdiction of Makki Shah Police Station in Hyderabad in which two dacoits were killed.

Four other accomplices of the dacoits managed to escape from the scene during the encounter.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shehzaib Chachar said that the dacoits were involved in more than 25 dacoities.

Police recovered a large quantity of arms and a motorcycle from the possession of the dacoits. He said that a search operation is underway to apprehend the remaining colleagues of the dacoits.

The second police encounter occurred in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station, Kot Addu, in which two dacoits were killed.

Police said that both dacoits were trying to escape when they came face-to-face with the bandits.

During the exchange of fire, both dacoits were killed. Later, the police shifted the dead bodies of both dacoits to the local hospital, where the identification process is underway.

Police started legal proceedings against the dead dacoits.
