Federal Constitutional Court reviews performance, discusses AI integration

The full court of the Federal Constitutional Court met on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan to review the institution's performance and discuss measures aimed at improving judicial efficiency and service delivery.

According to an official announcement, the session reviewed the court's institutional performance, including an assessment of its achievements and functioning during the past six months.

The full court also considered the use of modern technology and artificial intelligence in judicial administration and court operations as part of ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and align the institution with contemporary judicial practices.

The announcement said participants agreed on the need to harmonize the Constitutional Court's functioning with international standards and best practices followed by constitutional courts around the world.

The meeting also decided to strengthen the professional training of court officers and staff to improve institutional capacity and service delivery.

The judges reaffirmed their commitment to continuing reforms aimed at ensuring the prompt and effective administration of justice.

According to the statement, the full court reiterated its resolve to uphold fundamental rights and safeguard the supremacy of the Constitution.
