♦ PTI leader Aleem Khan has detailed talks with PML-N supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif in London. Aleem Khan has agreed to support PML-N keeping in view the prevailing political situation in the country. The meeting between the two leaders lasted for over three hours which was also attended by former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
♦ Federal Minister for Housing Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema revealed Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to bring a change in the Punjab government set-up; Says the federal government’s committee had conveyed to them that the prime minister had agreed to change Punjab chief minister and also extended them congratulations; Says the government should not consider them a child. How can trust it that it will honour its commitment after no-trust motion; Says the Opposition had offered them Punjab chief ministership while the government had offered them “lollypop”.
♦ Seeing that government is in serious trouble, some of the close aides to Prime Minister Imran Khan including former PM adviser on accountability Shahzad Akbar have left the country. Shahzad Akbar has left for London. First Lady’s friends Farah Khan and Ahson Gujjar will depart for America on March 23. Farah Khan’s sister Musarrat Bibi has already flown to England.
