Two joint ventures submit technical bids for building cricket stadium in Islamabad

Two joint ventures (JVs) submitted technical bids to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for the construction of a cricket ground in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

One joint venture comprises Habib Rafiq Construction and ZKB Enterprises, and the second venture is Limer Builders and B.K. Consultants.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) will clear the same after a detailed review. 

After approval, both joint ventures will share their financial plan with the Capital Development Authority.

NESPAK and a Turkish firm will assist the Capital Development Authority for reviewing the technical bids.

Capital Development Authority will construct a cricket ground at Zone Three with a capacity of 32,000 people, and a parking area will also be constructed where 10,000 vehicles will be parked.

The cricket stadium will be constructed on an area of 50 acres in Olympic Village.
