Sania Mirza returned stronger after seeking help for battling depression

During a show conducted on Youtube called Mind Matters, Indian professional tennis player Sania Mirza dived deep into how after withdrawing from the Beijing Olympics in 2008 Sania went through an intense period of depression.

The injury which caused Sania to withdraw put an overwhelming effect on her mind causing her to suffer tremendously.

She went through miserable crying sessions which caused her to seek help.

Sania declared that after she sought help, she felt much better and returned as a much more vigilant and stronger human being.

Sania also pointed out that many people are dependent on their careers to be the source of happiness and joy.

Sania’s depression was caused by fear that after her setback at Beijing Olympics she might never be able to compete again.
