PTCL warns of internet degradation after submarine cable fault

The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced that the internet service in the country will face degradation for a week after a submarine cable developed a fault, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Alerting the consumers, the PTCL warned that due to the repairs the internet service may slow down during evening hours from May 11 to May 18.
The company said an international cable consortium will carry out the maintenance activity on the submarine cable.
The PTCL offered apology to the consumers for the possible degradation of service.
